There has been a focus on ensuring the emotional safety of actors by bringing in intimacy experts to assist with creating intimate and hyper-exposed scenes. Intimacy direction is vital to creating a safe space for actors to explore their characters. It ensures that all actors involved in intimate or hyper-exposed scenes feel comfortable and respected and that the scenes are staged artistically and ethically sound.

As an intimacy director, I work closely with actors and the creative team to create a safe and supportive environment for exploring intimacy on stage.
